Tibet Oh Tibet

Not many of you know that the region that we refer to as the roof of the world i.e., Tibet. It is under the unjust control of Chinese Government. Many people talk about Kashmir issue, Israel-Palestinian conflict or the Iraq war but nobody seems to mention this place. I think it is because of cunning tactics on the part of Chinese government they seem to be good in censuring things and keeping them under the rug.

Tibet is a small country which is now under the control of China. The Tibetian Government in Exile now has its capital inside India from where it runs its “government.” The head of the government is Mr. Tenzin Gyatso who is referred to as Dalai Lama.

Human rights voilations galore but the thing that irks me most is how far the Chinese government has gone with its agenda that it has detained a young boy who is only 8 years old. He is the youngest political prisoner. His name is Gedhun Choekyi Nyima.

PanChen Lama (Gedhun Choekyi Nyima)

His crime is only that he has been nominated as Panchen Lama by the Dalai Lama. You can visit Free the Panchen Lama website to read more about him. You can also try FreeTibet.org if I have been able to arouse your interest in this problem.

Blogging mind

First post is difficult for any Bloggar and things do not change just for me. The question that I am asking myself right now is “why do people waste so much of their time blogging?” I think most bloggars want to exert their influence. Its like public speaking, we are seeking listeners to all the bullshit that is there in our minds waiting to get out.

Psychologically speaking blogging should have a nice influence on people like me who spend most of their time inside their homes. The outlet is there even if nobody comes and reads my blog, the thing that matters here is that I have spoken out aloud to the world out there. I do not know if every bloggar feels that way it is just my approximation of a typical blogging mind.
